Great Barrier Feast Series
Wine and dine your way through the year with Hamilton Island’s Great Barrier Feast series of gourmet events. Featuring master classes and incredible menu’s from Australian and internationally acclaimed chefs, these regular events include three chef’s table weekends held across the year.
Following the highly successful 2010 Great Barrier Feast series featuring Tetsuya Wakuda, Justin North and Ben Shewry, three highly acclaimed two hatted chefs’ have lined up for 2011. Tetsuya Wakuda will again lead the series for the first weekend of the year, followed by Frank Camorra and Dan Hunter.
Each event will again include Q&A sessions so you can ask your favourite chefs for professional tips. Then go behind the scenes for the showcase dinner and watch as a world-renowned chef prepares your evening meal, step-by-step. Wines for the series will once more be selected by one of the world's leading authorities on Australian wine, James Halliday.
