Whitsundays Internet Cafes and Telephones

There are Internet cafes on just about every street corner of every tourist town in Australia and the Whitsundays is no exception.
Airlie Beach is your best bet for a good deal and access is usually via a broadband (fast cable) connection. Access costs a few dollars an hour and you can usually get a pretty decent coffee too.
Public telephones aren't as popular as they used to be before mobile phones took over, but you'll still find public phone booths in the 'built up' areas of the Whitsundays. Call costs are generally 40c for a local call (unlimited time) and a few dollars for about 15mins to anywhere in Australia.
Call costs to overseas numbers will vary depending on where you are calling, International calls will cost upwards of 25c per minute and it's probably cheaper to use an International pre paid call card.
