Bowen River Rodeo and Campdraft
Started 130 years ago, the Bowen River Rodeo and Campdraft is a traditional bush rodeo and campdraft that brings people from all over Australia to experience a true country rodeo and campdraft.

The Bowen River Rodeo and Campdraft is held every June at the Bowen River Rodeo Grounds. You can get there via the Strathmore Road (between Bowen and Collinsville).
- Come for the day or camp at the grounds.
You do not need to book for camping. You pay for your campsite on arrival, and your campsite fee includes use of the toilets and showers.
As well as the rodeo and campdraft events, there will be food, drinks, market stalls, rides for the children - and kids’ junior bush horse sports on Sunday.
