Dunk Island is Australias most beautiful rainforest island; it really has no equal for a tropical family holiday.

Dunk has an amazing variety of activities and experiences, with just about every water sport under the sun, a dense rainforest home to over a hundred species of birds, a charming bush farm, and a kids club so cool that parents can simple disappear. Imagine that!

Dunk is one of only a handful of tropical rainforest islands close to the Great Barrier Reef. It is a place of great contrast. From the solitude of a secluded beach to a never ending array of island activities.

Dunk Island has four levels of accommodation from which to choose. All rooms are serviced daily and feature ensuite bathrooms, air-conditioning, colour television, telephone, ironing facilities and a hairdryer.

Location
This resort has an idyllic setting,overlooking the golden sands and tranquil waters of Brammo Bay. It is located 4 kms off the coast of Mission Beach, halfway between Cairns and Townsville in Tropical Queensland. The island covers 1000 hectares of rainforest.
Rooms
The garden cabanas are set in tropical surroundings and are favourites with families. They include private balcony and tiled floors. Beachfront units feature a premium view location, balcony and split-level room configuaration with tiled floors. The rooms are large and in good condition along with the bathrooms.
Restaurant
Beachcomber Restaurant is located on the ground floor level and overlooks the bay. EJ's on the Deck - cafe style food outlet for refreshments. BB's on the Beach is for casual dining. There is also the Cascade Pool Bar .
